About Motamedi House

This building is a house that dates back to the Safavid, Zandi and Qajar eras and has significant architectural value. It is one of Isfahan's most stunning and fascinating old houses. It is a true wealth of Iranian art and culture.

It was held by Malabashi during the Qajar era, the jurist, scholar, and astronomer Nasser al-Din Shah, who came to Isfahan to moderate and calm the atmosphere following the conflict between the governing of Isfahan, Zele Sultan, and the clergy during the constitutional period. Dr. Ahmad Motamedi currently owns this home, which he purchased in 2001 and attempted to renovate in order to turn it into a tourist attraction that also functions as a boutique hotel and a private museum.
